Matcha Chewan #2

A beautiful chewan that's the perfect size to whisk your matcha in.
It balances nicely in your hand for drinking, and don't get me started on this glaze!
It's simply stunning with both matte and glossy glazes!
No two chewans (or yunomi's) are the same. For a traditional tea drinking ceremony, the host picks the vessel that they feel best suits the user (just a fun fact for you, my matcha afectionado!) The host passes it with their favorite side facing the recipient of the vessel. Admire that side as it sits comfortably in your hand - just for a moment, before sipping the drink (it's truly a compliment!)
I won't charge extra for those ceremony-formality tips, friends, no worries!
This piece fits wonderfully into a collection, yet it will stand out beautifully on it's own if you're just looking to add some mindful presence and a touch of artistic expression to your tea-routine.

Smooth stoneware, Lead-free glazes, microwave and oven safe, hand washing preferred. (Last photo) shown with chewan #1 in this update. Artist signed initials, not "leadfoot martha," but yes she was the one who crafted it!
